We Got Skills
We have a skills chart of some basic skills that we would like our Scouts to know. Each PA will be asked to explain, show, and/or teach a member of camp staff these skills over the weekend. They will then add their sticker to the chart. The chart will be hung up at Day Camp so that leaders know the areas that their PA's were trained in. You will be able to add stickers to the chart as they learn new things at Day Camp too.
By the end of the retreat Rock Stars need to know all of these skills, Garage Banders should know at least 10, and School Banders should know at least 5. Your personality, leadership abilities, attitude, work ethic, confidence, and ability to stay with your assigned group are big determining factors. Knowing your skills are also very important, but are not the only things that distinguish between the levels.
We need to know each Scouts' strength and weakness so that we know where to place them at camp, so that they will be challenged, but still shine as an individual.
Select Rock Stars will be leading patrols and teaching some of these skills in stations at the PA retreat.

Included below are the skill documents we learn at Retreat, and reference back to throughout the week of camp. You are welcome to download them or print them off at any time, as well as carry them with you during the retreat and during the week of camp. I recommend practicing before retreat, but it is not required.
